Embedding Videos Into WordPress Without Code Errors

Adding videos into your WordPress blog can help to make your blog more dynamic and popular with your readers. Embedding free videos from popular video sharing sites such as Google Video, YouTube and others should be a straight forward cut and paste job.

But what do you do if the code breaks your blog pages?

All is not lost!

Find this video and thousands of others at vSocial!

Log into your admin and select ‘Users’ from the top menu bar.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and UNCHECK the box under
‘Personal options‘

This will remove the Visual Rich Text Editor.

Do this BEFORE you prepare your post.

When you go to write a new post a new post then you can copy the code and insert it into your post then your videos will display OK.

As long as you do not edit the post again once the Visual Rich Text Editor is back on your video will display as normal.

This is a valuable tip from Jack Humphrey.

This will save the bother of having to set up a web page for video presentations that wreck having on your WordPress blogs.

I prefer to link direct to the video but after reading this I can understand what I was doing wrong. Maybe now I can keep readers at my site longer.

This make sense now. Always a good idea to use video to show how to use video if you know what I mean

I tried the wordpress plugin for this problem but it doesn’t show up in my plugins list!

I have used this method now and as long as I don’t forget to set it up this way when I edit the post this works just fine for me.
