Your reputation can drastically influence your customers and visitors to your site. Building credibility and trust is paramount to your success.
Do you wonder what is being said about you and your business?

Be careful how you use national new headlines to try and manipulate your reader’s emotions by getting them to buy your product because a celebrity has died.
The ‘Call to Action’ should not be based on emotional bribery.
By all means tell a story to engage your readers and avoid the ‘hard sell’.
It’s ethical to use what some marketer’s term as ‘Psychological Triggers’ but AVOID exploitation of another individual at all costs!
Do you want to loose credibility or your valued subscribers for a fast buck or do you want to maintain your dignity at all times?
You can only draw on the conclusion that there is no genuine respect for you as a reader when these unethical practices are being thrown at you.
However, there is much to be learned by keeping an open mind and staying focused on what YOU want to achieve with your online business. Try not to imitate bad practices of others.
