I was reading an article over at LifeHacker entitled, How To: Reclaim your name online, and it brought me back to a separate article regarding Ten Ways To Clear Bad Press From Search Engine Results to retain the integrity of your online reputation. With all the many ways we use to for self promotion and networking it is easy to fall victim to some very embarrassing moments you would rather forget.

Just a thought, when uploading you fun picture to your favorite social networking site of Flickr type web site if the images displays a less then flattering portrayal of yourself. Take time out BEFORE uploading them and come back to it at a later date. This alone could save you a lot of unnecessary grief and undue embarrassment that may haunt you for a very long time.

Your online reputation could be the key factor that gets you recognized by your target audience, employer or so keep a good image and present yourself in the way you want people to perceive you.
