At Squidoo they have announced another section to their ever evolving web site called SquidFlix. The name appears to be an amalgamation of ‘Squidoo’ and ‘NetFlix’. Anyone familiar with NetFlix will know that they are one of the largest online rental movie stores.
Now SquidFlix is proclaimed as a place where you “GET PAID FOR WRITING MOVIE REVIEWS.”
So how exactly do you get paid?
Good question.
Look around the SquidFlix web pages and you’ll see Google AdSense ads, banner ads such as NetFlix, eBay product links. Each SquidFlix web page is monetized with relevant ads and products that may be of interest to readers and YOU, the editor shares in the revenues made from click throughs and sales.
SquidFlix looks like great fun as well as yet another way to self promote without selling via your ‘Lens Master’ about me page.
Sites like this can be very addictive but with the holiday season about I should think it won’t hurt to indulge yourself in some creative writing. Especially on a subject that you are passionate about, and get rewarded for it!
So if you qualify as one of many “obsessed movie lovers on the planet”, or feel you are a top movie mogul, head over to SquidFlix and see what all the fuss is about. Your own Squidflix could be featured in the TOP 100, or you could add your comments to some of the Top Listings to get exposure to your Lens Master web page.

I just watched Blood Diamond earlier today, I am going to try set a page up for it over at Squid Flix right now.
Hi Ryan,
I’m thinking of adding my comments to the Tombstone link as above. I have watched the film soooo many times!
Just have to edit my comment because at the moment it’s just way too long. LOL
Merry Christmas all,
