“Go beyond the old Page View model and start to measure engagement. Understand your users’ activities and how they interact with the various features of your site like never before.”
Shahar Nechmad, NuConomy Founder

You’re probably familiar with heat maps used to chart where visitors click on your web pages. I’ve covered the service provided by Crazy Egg some time ago. Well after catching up on my SomeWhat Frank articles I watched a presentation from a new start up company called Nuconomy.

NuConomy founder, Shahar Nechmad demonstrates how their unique service not only used the heat maps to record how visitors go through your web site but you can also follow a single user as if you were watching over their shoulder to see EXACTLY how they interact on your site!

Break down demographics you can define what activities you want to define and you can disseminate this information to get a completely new look into your business web site content.

NuConomy looks set to break the records for defining advanced web analytics in a user friendly format. With so many variables that can be broken down to reveal valuable insights into your users’ experience. Webmasters will have a truly knowledgeable statistics of their web site’s performance and user activity that it will be easier to make key changes to increase conversion rates to new levels.

This is definitely one of the most advanced web analytics I have come across to date so I hope they will be forthcoming as they roll out the beta tests to unveil their full working web analytics for the benefit of online business sites.

Nuconomy is in Beta testing mode right now. To keep up with current development sign up for a free account and subscribe to the official NuConomy blog.

What I like most about using web analytics data such as Google Analytics is that there are no intrusive pop-ups or visible changes to distract visitors. Plus there are no complicated amendments to be made in order to use and get the most out of the service. Just simply et your desired variables, copy and paste code into your web page and log into the service provider to view your latest statistics.

Do you use web analytics data? You may want to share your own results by adding your comments.

    Hi Nancy,
Very informative post. I would be a strong advocate of analysing your website data to enhance your visitors experience and gain that all important conversion. I took a look at Nuconomy and it certainly looks innovative. I will be keeping a close eye on developments. I had not heard of them prior to your post. Finding out the keywords that convert to sales and improving your site to increase sales is paramount to success. Any tool that gives one the edge is worth investigating. More and more people are using Google Analytics and tools like MuVar to maximize the performance of their sites. I am in the very early stages of using web analytics but look forward to it. I have years of experience of analysing customer related data in all kinds of systems and it is something I am very passionate about and thoroughly enjoy plus I have seen the effectiveness and benefits of this data when utilised correctly. In a bricks and mortar business, we would want to analyse as much data as possible about our customers, so why not on the internet? After all, our websites are our business. Excellent site Nancy.
