Farewell 2008 and Happy New Year Resolutions

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the last day of 2008!

I wonder what 2009 will bring to us all!

Since the Millennium I have begun a ritual whereby I begin my preparations for the coming New Year in mid November. I know this is not traditional but like most good Chef’s, “mise en place” (to put in place or to prepare beforehand) is the key to successful planning. Just take a look at what can happen when you don’t plan ahead!

With that tip in mind you’re probably wondering what I have in store for 2009. Well I plan on doing the following on 1st January 2009.

• Playing Wii games
• Catching up with missed episodes from a few of my favorite TV series online
• Declare no cooking day! All meals being prepared the night before
• Most important priority for New Year’s Day is to “CHILL OUT!”
