Do you use contextual advertising on your web pages or blog in the hope of earning passive income?

Google’s Adsense program allows you to add their code to your web pages to display ads related to the content of the surrounded page content. this sounds simple enough but many hundreds or more of you are loosing out on revenue because you maybe pasting your Adsense code in places where people are less than likely to gather interest from your visitors.

Can you place your hand on your heart and say that you have TESTED out different ad layout, color codes, ad positions and so forth?

Because this is what you should be doing on a regular basis to maximize on your revenue. One way of motivating yourself is to imagine that you are paying for each ad code you have inserted into your pages and that each time a page is viewed you pay out. Will this be enough to get you to perform a few tests in order to get a bigger Adsense check?

There are a few examples of making your ad code more attractive to site visitors. First take a look at my blog and see the 3 different Google Adsense codes and their locations. They didn’t get there by accident, and you can be sure that some things may change as from time to time as I TEST out different ad formats, colours, positions and so forth.

You can get plenty of free tips from the devil themselves, Google, from their official Adsense Tips page. Another great free resource is the Google Blog where in house publisher, Bryan provides a wealth of information to help people like you and me.

Take a look at the suggestions and cool tips laid out in Adsense Webinar here..
