How To Capitalize On A Simple Thank You Page

Hidden gems lay in your web pages but you have to know where they are and how to set them up in order to benefit from every action a visitor makes at your site.

The Thank You Page is usually the most neglected web page on unless web sites. Have you considered how you could jazz up your Thank You Pages to increase your profits?

Typically many webmasters will add a standard Thank You for submitting your question or your order is on the way…

Have you seriously considered adding content such as:

Set Up an Opt-in form
Online survey
Offer a back end product
Link to a free gift or bonus
Online survey

This could be your own in-house survey to get feedback from customers and subscribers so that you can provide them with what they want. Helping to solve a problem and to target your future efforts to bring them exactly what they want and need. Takes the guess work out of your promotional efforts.

Paid surveys such as Free Traffic Swarm

Free Advertising Forum

Instant Buzz

Send A Free Ecard
Encourage them to tell a friend about your site. You could set up an automated script to provide a free gift as an incentive for referring others to your site. Some online scripts and services can be found on one of my previous posts.

Coupons, vouchers, gift certificates or a time special discount.
Irresistible Special One-Time Offer

Time sensitive or one-time special offer is a tactic used notably by Mike Filsaime. He uses very effective viral techniques to pull in traffic to his sites and to make money on special ONE-TIME promotions priced way below their actual retail price. If you have a market to sell these gems on you could stand to make a good profit by selling them off to others.

No matter what niche you promote there is always some way in which you can maximize on your Thank You Page. Don’t throw money out of the window. Go take a look at your Thank You Page and think of a way to encourage your visitors to take action.

Take some time to brainstorm some ideas. You don’t HAVE to sell something, but it does help the bank balance somewhat if what you are selling is popular with your visitors. Think hard and wisely the last thing you want to do is turn off your customers. So add something that ties in with the theme of your site or original sales offer to be on the safe side.

Try Survey Scout

It really doesn’t matter what kind of products or services you are marketing you can optimize your Thank You Page to provide a valuable gift your customers that relates to your business model.

Best of luck with your new look Thank You Pages. If you have some innovative ideas you would like to share with other readers you are welcome to leave a comment.
