Kontera Contextual Advertising Solutions

Another great advertising network I stumbled across recently is Kontera Contextual Ads . I thought Chitika eMiniMalls looked attractive to the eye but Kontera take contextual ads to the next level.

Take a look at the site and watch the online demo. I’m sure you will agree that they look pretty cool!

I haven’t had a chance to sign up and use them yet but it is something I will be looking into for the foreseeable future.

Is anyone using them on their sites and how effective are they compared to other ad networks like Google, Yahoo etc?

Google’s Got Me Going With Their Referral System

So the guys and gals Google have finally decided to offer a referral program for current advertisers. It’s been a long time in the making but now that the opportunity is here what will be the probable forecast for advertisers like me?

I personally feel that so many savvy marketers and webmasters have long cottoned on to where to go to add contextual ads to their site that my efforts will be minimal, or abysmal. Time will tell.

As with any new ad strategy and referral system I will find out how well the Google Referral System will be after checking stats for sign ups and potential earnings. For now I have integrated a permanent button for those of you who were thinking about signing up but for some reason or another have not got around to it.

I’ve got to confess that some years back my thoughts on placing text and image ads on my web sites were unethical. After spending some time surfing sites and making searches for products, services and information I found that those ads helped me on a number of occasions to find what I was looking for. So I soon changed my initial attitude and use them on my sites.

Is The Rich Jerk Just Playing With You?

I had written up a review of the Rich Jerk which I admit is not for those who could be easily offended. The sales letter is so extreme and full of self gratification that I have yet to see on any other site with a product or service to sell. It intrigues me to find that the price of the ebook has dropped considerably to just $49.00, from the previously advertised $97.00 mark.

Yet why is this so?

It appears that the controversy of the initial launch of the book coupled with the steep drop in price adds to the drama in an odd twist of fate. I’m sure none saw this coming. Particularly as the Rich Jerk is the #1 position at ClickBank in it’s category!

So will current owners be jerked off?

Highly probable!

Did you think the book was a little too much for your usual ebook budget?

Damb right!

Are you tempted to get it?

Sure thing!

Well for those that are interested the sales page is just as obnoxious as before so if you couldn’t bear to read it word-for-word the first time I seriously doubt much will change the second time around.

Maybe I will contact the owner and find out the reason for the price decrease for a book that is selling like hot cakes.

Hidden gems lay in your web pages but you have to know where they are and how to set them up in order to benefit from every action a visitor makes at your site.

The Thank You Page is usually the most neglected web page on unless web sites. Have you considered how you could jazz up your Thank You Pages to increase your profits?

Time sensitive or one-time special offer is a tactic used notably by Mike Filsaime. He uses very effective viral techniques to pull in traffic to his sites and to make money on special ONE-TIME promotions priced way below their actual retail price. If you have a market to sell these gems on you could stand to make a good profit by selling them off to others.

No matter what niche you promote there is always some way in which you can maximize on your Thank You Page. Don’t throw money out of the window. Go take a look at your Thank You Page and think of a way to encourage your visitors to take action.

Take some time to brainstorm some ideas. You don’t HAVE to sell something, but it does help the bank balance somewhat if what you are selling is popular with your visitors. Think hard and wisely the last thing you want to do is turn off your customers. So add something that ties in with the theme of your site or original sales offer to be on the safe side.

It really doesn’t matter what kind of products or services you are marketing you can optimize your Thank You Page to provide a valuable gift your customers that relates to your business model.
