Great news from MSN is they will be offering an alternative pay-per-click service through their AdCenter reported at the ECommerce Times due in June 2006. As from now MSN are working on beta testers who are assigned by invitation only. For anyone wishing to participate go direct to MSN AdCenter to sign up. They will provide you with answer for approval into their pilot ad scheme.
I’m not entirely sure of their criteria for selection but you may find handy tips from the forums at Webmaster World.
Looks like MSN are stepping up to the challenges of the ever evolving search engine race amongst Google and Yahoo!
This comes at the same time that Google has announced their acquisition of dMarc Broadcasting and their future proposals for Google Radio advertising which I wrote about yesterday. Looking forward to more huge surprises from the major search engines this year.
