Payment processing companies such as PayPal may have to step back as Google is reported to be building their own payment service. According to the major online press via articles by David A. Utter and Mylene Mangalindan. Google poses a serious threat to other major processing companies, particularly PayPal, who have been enjoying their own growth since they were acquired by the online auction giant EBay. In addition to the opening of PayPal centres across Europe and other countries.
I can foresee that they will be virtually no area which will be untouched by Google at their current rate of growth in new markets. We’ve read about several ongoing projects [Google Cube, Google Radio, My Client Center] and you can be sure that there will be many more innovative ideas for more multi-million dollar projects in the future.

In retaliation to their internal checks and filtering out of these illegal businesses the site has been bombarded with denial of service attacks and malicious slander in an attempt to tarnish their reputation and interfere with third regular business.

Recently StormPay.com closed the accounts of what appear to be some major ponzi schemes. These account closures came as the early results of investigations into those businesses by outside investigational organizations as well as our own internal investigations.
As a result, possible victims of these businesses are attempting to retaliate against StormPay.com by spreading false rumors and performing DDOS attacks against StormPay's servers. The rumors include such things as "StormPay.com has gone out of business", "Their building has been burned down", and other falsehoods. The DDOS attacks are "Denial of Service" attacks where massive amounts of traffic is sent to the website whereby disallowing legitimate web traffic to reach the website. These attacks only prevent legitimate traffic from reaching the website and pose absolutely no threat to the security of your StormPay account.
StormPay will CONTINUE to cooperate with authoritative investigations into these businesses which very heavily appear to be nothing more than illegal ponzi or pyramid schemes. Our hopes are to get these investigations completed as early as possible so that victims can quickly be refunded monies that have been captured in those account closures. However, we must warn that those who are impeding the investigation are only slowing the process for everyone involved.

It’s good to see that the staff at StormPay are seeking to maintain their business integrity as a bone fide 3rd party processor who are actively screening and reporting illegal activities of some vendors disguised as ‘work at home’ opportunities are closed out of the system. I only hope that most people will not have fallen victim to these illegal sites and that they will be compensated for any losses.

What’s All The Fuss About Google Cube?
Looks like Google has even more revolutionary projects on the go this year as they are preparing Google Cube. This is pioneered to be a low cost private internet service seperate to their present online service. Raising much speculation and intrigue within media and the blogosphere. Unfortunately the LA Times articles get shuffled around to their archives after a short while so I cannot link directly to it. You can however read some other news from The Times Online.

StormPay: 3rd Party Processor Updates For Account Holders
Recently StormPay have ruled against what they describe as competitive payments services. This now means that if you are selling products and services using other merchant account services this is now prohibited. The sad thing about StormPay’s decision is that a large majority of online businesses are removing StormPay from their sites and remain with other 3rd party processors who do not have such stringent rules. I can foresee that StormPay’s profits will be taking a big drop as more businesses choose credit card processors who are have more flexible arrangements.
Businesses such as PayDotCom and PixMeUp both have a large online communities and have dropped StormPay like a bad habit. It will be interesting to see what StormPay will do when fewer people use their services. Will they remove this imposing new clause in the vendor contract or will they look to other ways to bring in more clients and revenue streams?
