Google’s Referral Program Now Includes Text Link Codes

I noted that Google have added text links to their referral program so that we now have two ad code type to attract new publishers [text and buttons]. I would have preferred it if the text links were HTML based so that we could vary the text to display words of our own choice. The text link uses JavaScript as with Google’s general coding which prohibits any real customization.

Maybe this is how they keep control of their code. However I’m sure that when publishers requested the addition of text links they were hoping for greater flexibility that HTML coding allows. Admoolah shares my sentiments on this issue.

I’ve sent in my suggestions for this but as they use JavaScript I seriously doubt whether this will ever come into fruition. As the saying goes if you don’t ask you will not receive.
