The F.R.E.E ad toolbar gets even better for members as Mike Filesaime send out the latest update to members to announce more flexible arrangements for ad rotation. Read a copy of Mike’s message below:
"Hi Nancy,
We have made an improvement to InstantBuzz.com to
control inventory of Purchased ads vs. ‘Earned Ads’
Due to the enormous demand of members to buy
advertising, we have made some changes to our delivery
system to give better advantages to both earned credits
and those that purchase credits.
Also, some members wanted to spread their ads thru
the system at intervals they liked rather than massive
impressions over a short day or Two.
So the new system will allow you to set an:
"Impression budget" for your ads.
i.e. You can set just 1000 of your 10,000 ads to show.
Then the next week do the same. That way you can get
longer life from your ads and improve your site as you
go along to get better results.
Here is how the new system will work.
In your members area for edit bar ads you will see a new
setup for ad credits. There are 2 different type of credits
showing…the credits you have earned, and the credits you
have purchased, if any.
1. All earned credits go into the earned pool (top) for use.
You can move these credits to hold, or leave them in use
pool. There is no limit on the number of earned credits you
can move to use.
2. All purchased credits go into the purchased pool
automatically, and can only be assigned to Active use in
blocks of no more than 50,000.
3. If you have a combination of earned and purchased credits
in Active use, the system will rotate credits used on a 1 to 1
basis…1 from earned, then 1 from purchased, etc.
Due to that fact that we have had an over abundance of
ads "SOLD" recently, the queue is over loaded. This was
causing long times delays for anyone’s ad to show.
This will help the system stay more balanced and extremely
help all members get more use of their credits whether earned
or purchased.
