1. Offer a free ebook that’s published right on your website. They would stay at your site to read it.
2. Give your visitors a different free bonus for each link they click-thru on your website. Example: “If you click on this link you’ll get a FREE course!”
3. Offer a search option on your website. People will stay longer because it gives them the option of searching through your web site using keywords.
4. Provide a chat room on your website. They will want to chat with other people that are interested in your site’s subject.
5. Write your content so it attracts their five senses. Use plenty of adjectives. They will stay focused on your website and block out other distractions.
6. Add a “FAQ - Frequently Ask Questions” part on your website. People won’t email you a question and leave. They will stay to find out the answer.
7. Offer easy navigation. People will leave quicker if they have a hard time finding what they’re looking for. Don’t get them lost or they will leave.
8. Give them plenty of things to do at your website. Allow them to submit classified ads, play interactive games, add their link, sign your guest book, etc.
9. Offer free online tools they can use right at your website. It could be a search engine submitter, ad or sales letter templates, ebook compiler, etc.
More ways to peak visitor’s interest are to offer pop under pages for search directories such as SearchFeast or ClickBank Mall or any other programs or services you may be affiliate with. Think about capturing subscriber email address with a float in ad or landing page. Be creative and test out different tips and tricks until you find out what works.
Once you have a healthy flow of traffic to your site you need to grab their attention and give then something to make them want to come back to your site. By getting them to opt-in to your mailing list you have the opportunity to contact them and offer them good quality information and special offers. If not maybe one of your exit pages may capture their interest and they may sign up to use the products and services, making you money in the process.

WordPress Plugin Anti Spam Image To Prevent Spam Comments
Hello all!
Thanks to you guys who sent me a message about my grand attempt to add my own scrolling text message to yesterdays post. I added more code than needed but all is well know.
Ah well I told you I’m no programmer but I do get a little over zealous with new stuff.
I have added a new plugin "Anti Spam Image" to all of my growing family of blogs to help fight against Spam. All that is required is for you to type in the code from the image code and voila you’re comments are online in real-time. No more waiting for me to moderate. I hope this will work out better. I chose the easy to install cc from WordPress plugins because it is quick simple and efficient. I DO love WordPress as a blogging platform it’s so versatile and even I can add code. Well sometimes

I know some people use alternative plugins such as Askimet and Spam Karma but after reading some of the problems faced by other bloggers with Spam still getting through and their blogs going offline I though it wise to us this simple tool. Let me know how you feel about it as I’d really appreciate your feedback.

affiliate forums and newsletters publications I thought it would be a refreshing
way to end the week with a more upbeat note on the subject of affiliate programs.

Affiliate Program Basics

In most instances an Affiliate Program is the easiest and most
cost effective way for the new person coming to the web in hopes
of earning some extra money or perhaps to replace their income
from a dead end job, or to supplement their existing income.
Affiliate programs will require the affiliate to carry no
inventory nor will they be required to handle any transactions.
The only real requirement the affiliate has is to send
interested people to their affiliate web site via a text link,
banner or Pay Per Click ad and collect a pre arranged percentage
of the sale.
Affiliate programs, often referred to as Reseller Programs,
Profit Sharing Programs, Referral Programs, or Associate
programs, gives affiliates the ability to create an online
business, giving them the opportunity to sell thousands of
dollars worth of products and services, in a most cost effective
manner. No cost to join, no cost for inventory, no staffing
costs, generally the only costs involved are related to the
promotion of their affiliate site. The profits can be
staggering. Some of the best affiliate programs can be found at
Clickbank.com They have been around for quite sometime and have
an excellent reputation.
One of the first affiliate programs was, Amazon.com. This was,
and is, one of the top affiliate programs on the web. Their
affiliate base is still the largest on the web. They’re not
necessarily the best choice for the new person starting out,
having to compete with over 600,000 affiliated web sites.
Types of Affiliate Programs:
Percentage of sale: Whenever you send a customer to the merchant
via your unique affiliate ID you are paid a percentage as your
commission. This can be anywhere from 15% to 65% it can be more,
depending on the initial cost of the product or service.
Pay per lead: You get paid a one-time fee for sending a person
to fill out an online form. Fees vary and can be anywhere from
$0.25 to $25. These aren’t in the abundance that used to be.
Merchants found it too costly for their return.
Two-Tier: You get paid commissions on sales you generate and
also you get paid commissions on sales generated by affiliates
you recruited. Usually companies pay 50% commission for direct
sales and 5 to 10% for sales generated by your affiliates.
As I mentioned previously, you will get a unique web address
that identifies you as the affiliate that sent the prospect to
the merchant’s site. This will ensure that you get the commission
you deserve for sending the prospect who purchases the product
or service.
If you use a bit of common sense and understand the agreement
you’re making with the merchant, you can minimize your risk of
not getting paid and produce a nice profit as well. When you use
affiliate programs properly you will generate an income that you
could never have dreamed of.
Don’t expect to rocket to stardom or to be rich over night.
Persistency and determination will prevail.
